Now that there may be an end to the tunnel regarding the current pandemic, recovery will require a lot of entrepreneurship. But the current crisis has also made it clear that we are facing a fundamentally different world in which aspects such as sustainability, digitalisation and a different kind of globalisation will become important themes. This final session will look ahead to what role entrepreneurship will play in these important social trends.

Roy Thurik

With over 30 years of experience as Entrepreneurship professor at various renowned universities, Roy Thurik is a true expert in the field. Furthermore, Roy conducts research focused on the role of small firms in markets, co-edited several publications and published over two hundred articles in leading academic journals and books.
Lucas Foster
LabCriativo, Brazil
One of the prominent leaders of the new economy and an international reference for the Brazilian creative economy. In 2011, he was one of the corporate venture pioneers in Brazil when he founded ProjectHub, a platform to connect entrepreneurs and large companies. In 2016, he acquired LabCriativo, one of the first content websites on creativity and innovation in Brazil. In 2020, he consolidated the companies and created Originals Network, a creative business holding company that owns ProjectHub, LabCriativo, and Originals Media House focused on creativity, technology, and content services.
